Form of workVesta, Inc. is a not for profit, financially sound, mental health company which is expanding throughout the Maryland area. Vesta, Inc. provides comprehensive behavioral healthcare to include clinic, day program, and residential homes for those suffering from mental health disorders.
We are currently in search of a compassionate individual who has a passion for working with individuals who have been diagnosed with severe mental illness to work in our Forestville Region's Residential Program (Southern Region). These individuals would be assisting with coordination of client care and daily activities such as meal preparation, household chores, grooming, extra-curricular activities, medication monitoring and general oversight of clients in our residential homes. This position would be working in group homes with senior clients who have a variety of diagnosis and behavior disorders, but also have somatic care needs.
We are currently looking for a Part-Time Counselor that will work Monday - Friday 4p - 12a.
Salary ranges from $18.02/hr - $20.18/hr based on experience and education.
Qualifications:
- Ability to drive a 15 passenger vans daily and possess and maintain, throughout employment, a valid driver’s license.
- Experience using an eHR to complete daily notes.
- Bachelors' Degree or 3 years of experience working with those with mental illness.
- Experience providing skills training to clients in either a residential or day program setting.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
