We're hiring a reliable and process-driven painter who is comfortable talking with clients to understand their needs. Our painters perform a variety of duties including scaffold assembly, sanding down old paint, filling in drywall holes, mixing paint, and painting interior or exterior walls. Our ideal candidate has previous work experience as a house and industrial painter and is comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools to get the job done. $38,000 - $52,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Build scaffolding when needed
- Coat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
- Fill holes and cracks with putt, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
- Use job specifications to mix and match paint and stains
- Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision

- Prepare surfaces for painting by filling holes and cracks with putty and sanding
- Treat painted surfaces with primer or sealer
- Erect scaffolding when required
- Protect trim, floors, fixtures, and furniture from paint using drop cloths and covers
- Use a paint sprayer when the job requires it
- Repair small drywall patches
- Maintain a neat and tidy work area
- Document your work daily in our software app on your phone
- Communication professionally with the Project Managers
- Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods of time, and have physical strength and dexterity
- Driver’s license required
- Candidates should have strong time management, communication skills, and attention to detail
- We prefer candidates with 2 years work experience and a completed apprenticeship, but not required
- We prefer if you have a high school diploma or GED
- Must live within 50 miles of Auburn Hills, Michigan to be considered for this position
- Experience with painting tools and techniques is required
- Experience with a paint sprayer
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- We are a drug-free company
- Strong communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Physical strength, stamina to stand for long periods of time, and dexterity is required
