Resident Home Care Giver/ Home Care Companions

1. **Personal Care**: Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.

2. **Medication Reminder**: Prompting medications and keeping track of dosages, if necessary.

3. **Meal Preparation**: Planning and preparing meals according to dietary needs and restrictions.

4. **Mobility Assistance**: Helping clients with mobility issues, which may involve using mobility aids or providing physical support.

5. **Companionship**: Providing emotional support, engaging in conversation, and offering companionship to combat loneliness.

6. **Housekeeping**: Light housekeeping tasks like cleaning, laundry, and tidying up.

7. **Transportation**: Assisting with transportation to medical appointments, errands, or social outings. (Not with personal vehicles)

8. **Monitoring Health**: Observing and reporting changes in the client's health or condition.

9. **Record Keeping**: Maintaining records of care provided and any significant developments.

10. **Safety**: Ensuring the safety and well-being of the client by identifying and addressing potential hazards.

11. **Communication**: Keeping in touch with the client's family or healthcare professionals to provide updates on the client's condition.

12. **Flexibility**: Adapting to the changing needs and routines of the client.

The specific duties can vary based on the client's age, health, and requirements. Caregivers may work with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those recovering from illness or surgery. It's important for caregivers to be compassionate, patient, and capable of providing the necessary care and emotional support to their clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 7 – 36 per week
