Plan, organize, coordinate and lead programs to assure that the needs of all residents are met/maintained on an individual and/or group basis. Programs will support resident's physical, social, intellectual and spiritual well-being.
Calling all artists, musicians, naturalists, dancers, crafters, master gardners, animal lovers, and creative-types. Also, you event-planners, community festival organizers, party people, and general go-getters!
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position. Working one weekend per month is required. Occasionally working on some holidays (coordinated with the team) will be expected.
- Determine, develop, plan, organize and evaluate Resident Engagement programs for thecampus.
- Build deep and meaningful relationships with residents to encourage resident leadership in programming.
- Lead, instruct, supervise and/or support resident programs, special events, and off-sitetrips.
- Secure contracted instructors for presentations, special events, and recreationalprograms as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure awareness, education, communicationand participation in Resident Engagement initiatives throughout the campus.
- Work closely with Resident Council, Resident Committees, or representatives to supportresident programs and events.
- This is a full-time position
- Hours are generally 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday-Friday with one weekend per month. Occasional scheduled evening hours are possible.

- Experience with PointClickCare and Microsoft Teams a plus.
- Must be able to use technology (i.e. Microsoft products) to complete job functions including reporting, documenting and communicating. Must have a level of understanding to teach others how to optimally use technology.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public
- Must have a general knowledge of, and contact with, available community programs to assist the elderly
- Must have the ability to build rapport with resident, team members, families and others involved with supporting the resident's well-being.
- Experience coaching and supervising team members a plus.

- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
