Tierra Rose Care Center is a family-owned and operated 76 bed Intermediate Care Facility located in a lovely setting in a quiet residential neighborhood in NE Salem. We have a caring and supportive team of long term care professionals who work together to provide excellent care to our residents.

We have a new employment opportunity for an RN Resident Care Managerwith Long Term Care experience to lead clinical services within a long-term care facility (LTC) located in Salem, Oregon.

RCM qualifications:

• Required with 1+ years of extensive long-term care management experience and the leadership skills required to ensure the best care possible for all residents.
• Extensive knowledge of state regulations with regard to long term care
• Stable employment history
• Experience with MDS 3.0 is preferred
• The Resident Care Manager is responsible for managing the overall nursing care of their assigned residents. This will include supervising and coordinating with all members of the health care team to develop and implement a plan of care that optimizes the physical, mental and psychosocial well-being of each resident
• Working knowledge of MDS process, state and federal survey, and CMS is preferred.
• The RN must have a current, unencumbered RN license in the state of Oregon
• Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills are essential for success
• Ability to creatively problem solve in both Resident Care and employee management situations
• Individual must be a team player, well organized, and flexible
• Ability to work on call and come in when needed on a rotating schedule
• Clinical oversight of nursing staff
• Policy and procedure development
• Knowledge with Point of Care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45.00 - $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
