SalaryThe Inn at Edgewood is looking for a Residential Assistant to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. This position is responsible for providing resident support services in a 10-bed residential care home.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and will enjoy working with other staff members to ensure that all residents receive the best quality care in a small home- like setting.
Essential Functions:
- Provide Residents' support as needed to assist with activities of daily living.
- Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming.
- Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dusting, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning and putting away of personal belongings.
- Perform monitoring of all residents.
- Assist with ensuring that all scheduled appointments are met for Residents.
- Provide Resident Support as needed and assist with medication management.
- Participate in life enrichment activities.
- This night time position is also responsible for meal preparation and some baking activity.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals in a long-term care setting preferred.
Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family, staff, and visitors.
- Ability to build rapport with residents, families, and visitors.
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to thrive in a small intimate setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
