SalaryPrairie Hills Cedar Rapids is looking for caring, dependable individuals who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with seniors. We currently have full and part-time openings on 3rd shift 10pm-6am. Part-time position is every other weekend only 10pm-6am.
Resident Aides assist the elderly who are functionally, physically, or socially impaired and need 24-hour oversight. They will provide all of their responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of assisted living.
Job duties may include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living- including dressing, bathing, hygiene, mobility, transferring, activities, etc.
- Respond to call lights and emergency situations in a timely and professional manner.
- Observe & report changes in resident conditions, incidents, or accidents.
- Assist in a variety of tasks including meal service, light housekeeping, laundry, answering phones, or any other duties as assigned.
- Administer medications to assigned residents (as a Medication Aide only) as assigned by physician orders and under the supervision/delegation of the Director of Nursing.
- Attend and participate in all in-services and trainings to maintain knowledge and requirements for the assisted living guidelines.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
