About us

Good Shepherd Gracenter is a non-profit licensed Recovery Residence for women, that offers a path to successful recovery and community reintegration by addressing some of the major barriers faced by many substance abusers, such as the lack of a safe home, spirituality, education, social skills or a supportive social network. Without these, it is even more difficult for them to find a job and maintain housing and sobriety.

We are looking to add to our team of responsible, caring recovery staff at our licensed women’s residential center in SF. If you are interested in doing meaningful work, have great interpersonal skills, and ability to work different times of shifts - join us!

Duties & Responsibilities

• - Promote a positive recovery environment, engage in program-related activities.
• - Be available for needs of the participants.
• - Be familiar with the house guidelines and encourage others by a positive example.- Be responsible for basic security measures.
• - Maintain facility logs
• - Other duties as assigned

Skills

• - High School Diploma or equivalent.
• - Familiar with 12- Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous.
• - At least two years of experience with substance abuse treatment or in a nonprofit services organization.
• - Experience working with a diverse group.
• - Good interpersonal communication skills.- Preferred prior experience using Word.
• - Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 8 per week
