Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Help clients with mobility and physical activities, including transferring and positioning
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation
- Administer medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals
- Escort clients to appointments and social outings
- Document and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate supervisor
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a personal care assistant or caregiver preferred
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Reliable transportation to travel to client's homes
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Note: . Must be dependable. Responsibilities include assisting the elderly with all aspects activities of daily living. CNA is a plus but not required. Must be able to pass a criminal history background check and drug screening. Some restrictions apply
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $7.50 - $10.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Rotating weekends
