SUMMARY

The Reservation Specialist will act as a “first point of contact” for resort guests reservations while providing superior customer service, accurate information and driving revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

•Schedule group and individual reservations via phone or e-mail for hotel / condo lodging, resort dining and recreation activities including but not limited to: Snow Sports, Golf or Adventure Course.

•Educate guests on events, activities, facilities and pricing by demonstrating advanced knowledge of Peek ‘n Peak and Scott Enterprises.

•Ask pertinent questions to identify customer wants and needs to assist in sale of packages and upgrades.

•Address guest requests and concerns immediately and with a professional attitude.

•Input information such as reservations, special requests and credit card information into systems accurately as required.

•Ensure guests receive reservation confirmation and other package information in a timely manner.

•Collaborate with Sales Department and Hotel Front Desk to share information relative to communicate rates/availability, create group room blocks, enter room lists, complete group routing and provides guests with timely/accurate information.

•Operate computer systems to record, summarize and analyze guest reservations or other relevant information.

•Demonstrate expertise in departmental systems such as: computerized reservation system, rate quote process, filing, reporting and strict adherence to Resort/PCI Data Security Policy.

•Use proper etiquette to answer telephone, give information to callers, take messages, transfer calls to appropriate individuals and return calls in a timely manner.

•Adhere to department / resort / company policies, procedures and safety rules at all times.

•All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. •Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

•Proficiency in computerized word processing, summarizing and writing/editing.

•Possess the analytical and mathematical proficiency required to audit financial documents/records.

•Capable of effective and courteous communication with guests and associates of all levels.

•Confidential handling of all Resort and Company information required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

•High School diploma or equivalent required; technical/college education preferred.
