Responsibilities:
- Answering incoming calls and assisting customers with their reservation inquiries
- Providing excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Making reservations and booking accommodations according to customer preferences
- Providing information about hotel amenities, policies, and local attractions
- Handling customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintaining accurate records of reservations and customer interactions
Experience:
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong sales skills and the ability to upsell hotel amenities or upgrades
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, especially if fluent in languages commonly spoken by tourists or international travelers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with outside sales techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of retail math for processing payments and calculating discounts or promotions
- Effective public speaking skills for providing information to customers or addressing groups
