Qiang Zhu is seeking to hire a Research Technician to be a key part of our research team. Our research focuses on exploring the molecular and cellular mechanisms of neurodegeneration in motor neuron diseases (e.g. ALS) and dementia (e.g.
frontotemporal dementia) and more importantly, developing novel therapies for clinical application to treat these devastating diseases. Work in the laboratory is conducted across multiple levels, including human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) culture and differentiation to neurons and glia, primary neuronal and glial cell cultures, mammalian cell lines, rodent models and human nervous system samples.
