Summary
Facebook Reality Labs Research (FRL Research) brings together a world-class R&D team of researchers, developers, and engineers with the shared goal of developing AR and VR technologies that ship in five to ten years. Come work alongside world leading scientists and engineers to create the technologies that make MR, VR, and AR pervasive and universal. The Sensors and Systems Research team (SSR) is currently seeking researchers with experience designing, modeling, and prototyping advanced vision systems for real-time, low-power, embedded devices. We are looking for innovators and systems thinkers to develop future generations of intelligent, low power imaging systems. As a Research Scientist in SSR, you'll partner with expert Research Scientists, electrical engineers, software engineers, and other brilliant minds to build novel prototypes integrated with advanced AR/VR headsets. You'll foster scientific explorations and generate viable paths to the consumer products that will connect people in meaningful ways for decades to come. You'll work on a wide range of technologies, from sensor design, bring up, and validation to standing up prototypes and system level demonstrations and explorations. Together, let's step into the adventure of a lifetime as we make science fiction real and change the world.
