E15 Research & Insights Internship Program
May 2024 – August 2024
You’re someone who loves spreadsheets and formulas as much as sampling a new recipe or visiting your favorite restaurant. You’re a creative problem solver, a collaborator, and an innovator. To you, there’s nothing better than uncovering the ‘why’ or ‘what’ behind a certain consumer dining behavior.
Position Description:
As an Intern in this 11-week program, you’ll have the opportunity to work with our Research & Insights team as they execute large scale projects designed to uncover insights that drive our business. You will be matched with an E15 team member and collaborate on a project that is designed to uncover consumer behavior surrounding a specific dining-related behavior, such as better understanding what drives consumers to dine at their workplace or bring food from home or what barriers exist to purchasing food and beverage when visiting a museum. The position is hybrid and requires three to four days working from E15’s Home Office located in downtown Chicago and one to two days working remotely. You may be eligible for a housing subsidy to assist in temporary relocation.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze primary and secondary data to identify key themes and gain new insights
- Support the execution of qualitative and quantitative research studies
- Monitor food and beverage trends that impact our clients
- Summarize research findings in a clear and concise manner
- Build polished, insightful reports for both internal and external stakeholders
- Present/communicate analysis to internal stakeholders
