Position Summary
In this position, the successful candidate will primarily be responsible for the expansion, banking and maintenance of cell lines for the screening needs at Atreca. Moreover, the candidate will participate in the screening and characterization of our growing library of Atreca antibodies for binding against tumor cells. The ideal candidate would have excellent organization, time management and record keeping skills and will work in a fast-paced and team-based environment.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the growth, health and inventory of tumor cell lines making certain that schedules are met and necessary cell material is provided for screening
- Harvest and stain tumor cells for screening by flow cytometry in a high throughput format
- Flow data analysis, quality control, and assay optimization
- Duties also include general lab support, maintenance and other tasks as assigned
- Follow laboratory safety guidelines and practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
- B.S. in biology or related field plus 1-2 years relevant experience in industry or academia
- Excellent aseptic technique
- Experience working with multiple mammalian cell lines for use in in vitro or in vivo assays
- Excellent trouble shooting, organization and planning skills with the ability to work under timeline in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail, time management and recordkeeping skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Direct flow cytometry experience a plus
- Must be self-motivated; possess a strong sense of urgency to drive a project to completion and ability to prioritize tasks accordingly
