AddressSummary This is a without-compensation PhD research assistant position that requires a highly motivated individual with a PhD in Health Services Research and Policy. Responsibilities Duties include working with the principal investigator and co-investigators in applying and expanding methods from published material to specific analyses, programming and developing predictive models for low prevalence outcomes by using machine learning mechanism and national VA data and Medicare claims data. The successful applicant must have excellent scientific and problem-solving skills and knowledge of econometric methods and must have excellent oral and written communication skills. The study will be performed at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. Specialized Experience: The candidate must possess a PhD in Health Services Research and Policy with a Master of science in Statistical Practice or related field. Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
