JOB SUMMARY:
The Assistant Research Scientist functions as an independent investigator and has complete responsibility for their research program. Has begun a promising program of research and scholarship evidenced by peer reviewed publications. Demonstrates strong potential for sustaining an independent research program and leading a research team. Develops productive collaborative relationships within and outside the organization. Presents findings at national scientific/professional meetings and publishes in high quality journals. Pursues and secures extramural funding. May participate in hospital or professional service activities. May hold an academic appointment at University and engage in teaching and/or supervision of student research.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctorate Degree (non MD)
Generally required to be a fully self-funded investigator
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of experience
The expected hiring range for this position is $33.58 to $49.95
