Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Research Assistant with a background as a Medical Assistant.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our research initiatives by assisting with patient scheduling, recruitment, data collection, sample collection and processing and administrative tasks related to clinical trials and studies. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the recruitment and screening of patients for clinical trials and studies.
· Perform medical assistant duties such as measuring vital signs, obtaining medical histories, and assisting with patient examinations as needed.
· Perform specimen collection and processing as well as readying for shipment.
· Collect and record data accurately and in compliance.
· Maintain organized and detailed records of patient information and study data.
· Coordinate with study coordinators, sponsors, and other team members to ensure smooth study operations.
· Assist with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, preparing study materials, and communicating with study participants.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or certification in Medical Assisting preferred.
· Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting is required.
· Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately collect and record data.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
