Position Description: ThinkTek is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Junior Qualitative Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will should be capabile of demonstrating a pro-active approach to problem solving and should have documented experience using traditional analytical methods to support analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and conduct defense and military analysis in support of a DoD client.
- Conduct general research to support warfighting disciplines, COA analysis, strategy development, and organizational processes or procedures.
- Support government-led studies and analysis on all aspects of the defense enterprise relevant to major acquisition and force design decisions.
- Support the design, execution, and delivery of analytic tasks associated with wargames, simulations, and tabletop exercises, including the shaping of objectives, crafting of wargaming constructs, authoring of scenarios, facilitation of participant discussions, and authoring of after action reports and briefings.
- Brief senior-level government leadership on study findings.
Required
- Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations/Affairs/Security, Economics, History, Military History, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Science, and Psychology; experience with military analysis; coursework or practical experience with Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analysis, Formal Methods, or Operations Research.
- Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Analytic capability demonstrated through conduct of formal research and assessments of military or intelligence operations, national or international security, or comparable industry or academic research.
- Current Secret security clearance verifiable through DISS-JVS, and prior to start date
Desired
- A Master of Science degree in a STEM field is highly preferred.
- Experience designing or conducting wargame
