Resale Shop Manager

Scheduling and Availability

 Must be available a minimum of 35 hours to max 40 hours per week

 Must be available to work full-day shifts

 Must be available to work Flash Sales

Customer Service

 Greet each customer and ask questions to ascertain wants and/or needs

 Effectively communicate mark-down policies and current specials

 Offer creative solutions and ideas guiding customers to merchandise

 Handle customer inquiries and complaints

 Assist with consignor intake assuring the proper paperwork is reviewed and signed

 Effectively communicate consignment policies and contract details

 Enter consignor contact information into the computer data base

Cash Handling

 Operate computer/cash register to process cash sales, credit cards, and layaways when necessary

 Close out till and audit and resolve any discrepancies

Merchandising

 Process and sort incoming consignor merchandise

 Assist in the pricing of merchandise utilizing computer search engines and applying acquired knowledge of market value while ensuring pricing consistency

 Display merchandise in an attractive manner to maximize gross margin dollars

 Ensure store is being maintained and orderly

 Identify store and market trends to keep merchandise relevant and knowledge of when to discontinue acceptance of certain styles/trends

 Identify and mark down merchandise

Cleaning

 Assure staff is cleaning and maintaining presence of the store

Administrative

 Create and ensure execution of marketing ideas including: social media, email correspondence, Shopify and in store sales

 Follow up with Assistant Manager and Associates ensuring all assigned tasks are completed and hold accountable when not completed to standard

 Identify, hire, and train new associate members

 Tasks such as scheduling of staff, coordinating and sourcing instore and off site for delivery and pick ups for mover team, performing reports, account settlements, and payroll

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 35 per week
