SalaryUnder the direction of the Billing Integrity Manager, the Requestor Data Base Specialist is responsible for maintaining the database of requestors by merging duplicate requestors, validating requestor information, and providing feedback for training opportunities to operations group. This position can be conducted fully remotely.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Run BI report on daily requestor creations
- Merge new requestors into original requestor
- Review request documents to help determine correct requestor information
- Communicating with requestors to recommend letter formatting
- Track opportunities for retraining operations ROI Specialists
- Work with Release of Information Specialists on existing requestors
- Perform other duties, as assigned, to ensure effective operation of the department and the Company

- HS Diploma or equivalent, required; RHIT preferred
- 2+ years of release of information experience
- 2+ years of experience completing clerical or office work
- Experience using general office equipment including desktop computer, scanner
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Experience in a healthcare setting, preferred
- Knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations related to the release of Protected Health Information, preferred
- Must be able to work independently
- Must be detail oriented
