School Health Corporation, a national, full-service provider of health supplies and services to schools, is seeking a Replenishment Buyer I, who is responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, managing replenishment purchase orders, and resolving receiving issues. You will also be working in our brand-new state-of-the-art building in Rolling Meadows, IL.

To perform this job successfully, this individual should have a good working knowledge of computer applications and internet experience. They must also be resourceful, self-motivated, and organized.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages and maintains proper inventory levels for stocked products within multiple products categories
• Utilizes our ERP system by creating, sending, and managing replenishment purchase orders with assigned supplier base, ensuring timely delivery and correct quantities, while responding to changing demand patterns
• Collaborates with team on unusual sales and reviews future forecast to favorably affect future replenishments
• Resolves purchase order receiving issues within our warehouse, including damages, mis-shipments, short and over receipts, and returns to vendors trough utilization of our ERP system and CRM system (Salesforce)
• Directly controls quantity and timing of purchases with impacting results on the following KPI's: inventory turns, fill rates, inventory dollars, on-time purchase order delivery, and percentage of slow-moving inventory

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year's related experience and/or training
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office applications (Including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-up ability
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
• Associate degree or equivalent Supply Chain degree/certification required
