Job Title: Repair and Maintenance Technician
Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a highly experienced Repair and Maintenance Technician for fixing the Repair and Maintenance jobs within the organization. You will ensure that all equipment, machinery, and facilities are maintained in optimal working condition. Your role will involve planning scheduled maintenance tasks, coordinating repairs, and implementing preventive maintenance programs. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining Spares inventory and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement a maintenance plan to ensure timely repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Prioritize Repair and Maintenance tasks based on urgency, safety concerns, and operational needs.
• Coordinate with other departments to schedule maintenance activities that minimize impact on
production or services.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify areas requiring repair or maintenance.
• Monitor the progress of repair projects, ensure work is completed within deadlines and meets
quality standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment failures and
extend their lifespan.
• Establish maintenance schedules for routine inspections, lubrication, calibration, and other preventive maintenance tasks.
• Submit accurate records of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, work orders, and equipment histories.
• Continuously train and improve initiatives to optimize maintenance practices.
• Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, codes, and standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards.
Job Types:
Plumbing: May include fixing a clogged drain to replace toilets or sinks as well as Lift Station related work.
Electrical: Ability to replace breakers or outlets as well as replacing any interior or exterior lighting and
troubleshooting exterior LED signs.
Fuel: Ability to work on pump related work such as changing nozzles or doing maintenance on the spill
buckets.
Car Wash: Ability to replace motors, gears, bearings, brushes to troubleshooting or maintaining
powerpacks, reclaim systems or other car wash equipment.
HVAC: Ability to replace condenser or any other HVAC spares as well as perform preventive
maintenance.
Other: Ability to do other handyman repairs.
