Remote Travel Agent

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about the travel industry to remotely book travel. As a Travel Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating all trip components including, air, hotels, car rentals, theme park tickets, event tickets, and any other travel need necessary for leisure and corporate travelers.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Be authorized to work within the US.

Must be fluent in English

Must be able to effectively communicate with clients (strong sales background a plus)

Must have a smartphone with internet access, laptop recommend but not required

Personal travel experience is a huge plus, however not required

Previous experience in customer service or hospitality also a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Research, Create, and Execute itineraries for clients

Provide suggested budgets for clients

Review budgets, and plan trips according to clients budget constraints

Book travel needs (airline, car rental, hotel accommodations, cruise, ticket/event sales, etc…)

Effectively communicate with clients pre/post travel

Promptly respond to all travel inquires

Attend ongoing webinars with vendors and suppliers, to become specialized with specific destination

Create promotional materials to utilize

Stay up to date on changes within the tourism industry

Network with tour operators regarding packages that you can possibly offer to clients

Participate in FAM trips when possible.
