Remote Trauma Therapist

Aloha! We are a Hawaii-based Holistic and Integrative Psychotherapy & Psychiatry Center looking for Psychologists/LMHC/LCSW/LMFTs who are trained in specific trauma healing modalities to serve the community of Hawaii. You must have or be willing to apply for a Hawaiian License for this job.

Come work with your ideal clients and create your own schedule supported by a team of open-hearted and highly-skilled Therapists. We are hiring full-time and part-time (at least 15 client sessions per week) licensed therapists to treat clients in a private practice setting in Kailua, Hawaii on Oahu. This job can be performed remotely through HIPAA-secure Telehealth.

This is a flexible position where therapists can create their own ideal schedule. You will need to have one of these Hawaii Licenses for this position: Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist LMFT, or Licensed Mental Health Counselor LMHC.

We are a husband and wife team who are both psychotherapists and looking to hire compassionate, caring, highly-skilled Psychologists or Psychotherapists to join our practice as Independent Contractors.

We will provide as many Hawaii-based clients as you would like to work with, Intake Team that takes care of paperwork and up front dealings with clients, Remote Group Clinical Supervision, a loving and supportive community to be a part of, and easy insurance billing with our practice management software.

Remote Group Supervision starts with a meditation that we lead. Then, everyone gets to check in and share how they are doing in their lives and be supported by all of us. Then, we celebrate successes with clients and then bring up any cases or support needed around clients. We all share our wisdom and offerings. We are truly a little Ohana (family) and create lots of connection during this time where we all laugh together and cry together.

Great centrally located Kailua Location (if you are ever in Hawaii): We have 5 newly renovated office suites on the 2nd level of the Davis Building across from Kalapawai Cafe.

The position is for a minimum of 1 year. You must be an American citizen to be considered for this job position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing psychotherapy services
• Scheduling with clients
• Conducting new client intake and assessment
• Taking progress notes on each session
• Collecting and recording payments

Job Requirements:

1. Licensed in the State of Hawaii

2. Trained in either:

• Specific trauma healing modality, such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, Somatic Experiencing (SE), Sensorimotor, Brainspotting, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Comprehensive Resource Model (CRM), Integrative Body Psychotherapy (IBP), etc.
• OR a specific Couples Therapy modality such as PACT, EFT, Gottman, Imago, etc.
