Overview of the Role:
Alignment Health is seeking an organized, detail oriented, and thorough Remote Quality Management (QM) coordinator to join the Quality Management team. As a QM coordinator, you will provide administrative and clerical support, and project coordination to support accreditation activities. The QM coordinator reports to the senior manager of Quality Management. If you are looking for an opportunity to be a part of a growing healthcare organization, we are looking for you!
Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee completion of detailed accreditation project plans in alignment with accreditation standards, required quality studies, prioritized interventions and other requirements.
- Collect data related to accreditation and QM initiatives.
- Coordinate and conduct activities with internal departments to ensure accreditation compliance is maintained.
- Coordinate the development and revision of policies and procedures to comply with accreditation guidelines and regulatory standards.
- Assist with training and coaching to support understanding of accreditation standards and requirements.
- Coordinate mock file reviews as required by assigned accreditation standards
- Develop, implement, maintain, and oversee appropriate reports, policies, records, materials, and files related to accreditation.
- Aggregate data and initial analysis of results on assigned projects.
- Produce charts, graphs, and reports to demonstrate results and outcomes.
- Complete special projects and / or assignments.
- Ensure compliance of projects and meeting target dates.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Minimum (2) years' experience with accreditation or regulatory survey processes in a managed care organization, health plan or hospital environment.
- Experience coordinating accreditation plans in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Experience implementing accreditation standards for a Managed Care Organization (MCO) is preferred
- Computer proficient.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access)
- Bachelors or Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum (6) months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Organized and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable and able to work in a demanding environment with changing priorities
- Able to independently while also working collaboratively with a team.
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative to complete tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Possess analytical ability to problem solve.
- Solid interpersonal skills to build and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.
