Full job description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leader of Freight Brokerage to join our team. If you are applying for this position, you already know what a FREIGHT BROKER is. We are looking for candidates who already have an established book of business to bring on board.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with shippers
- Source and secure carriers to transport freight for customers
- Negotiate rates and terms with carriers, creating a pricing dept.
- Coordinate and schedule shipments, ensuring timely delivery
- Track and trace shipments to provide real-time updates to customers
- Resolve any issues or delays in transportation, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Freight Broker or in a similar role
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the freight industry (preferred but will
- Strong knowledge of the transportation industry, including supply chain and logistics
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with carriers and customers
- Proficient in using transportation management software for dispatching and tracking shipments
- Strong attention to detail, and TMS systems
- Ability to work in a fast- paced environment
The ideal candidate will have experience in transportation sales and account management, with a strong understanding of carrier sales. They should be able to effectively manage customer relationships while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a strong sense of urgency.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year with unlimited commission depending on the size of your book.
