JOB DESCRIPTION
What does a Director, Network Payment Operations do?
The Operations organization at Green Dot enables best in class banking, financial, settlement, loss management and payment operations for customers and partners. You will have an opportunity to manage overall Payment Network partner relationships while overseeing day-to-day operations with Payment Network providers for issuing and acquiring services. You will have a chance to partner with Product and Technology teams as well as other functions within the core operations organization, to provide operations that are reliable, resilient, and soundly governed via transparent metrics and KPI’s.
As a Director, Network Payment Operations, you can look forward to:
Managing overall Payment Network partner relationships and overseeing day-to-day operations with Payment Network providers for issuing and acquiring services
Working closely with the Money Processing division to ensure business and profit goals are met
Working closely with various teams within Payment Processing Operations to manage cost, SLA compliance, settlement reconciliation/exceptions, fraud & chargeback rates
Managing Payment Network incentives and negotiations of terms
Providing daily operational support for Payment Network relationships: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Pulse, NYCE, Star, CULIANCE, Shazam, Accel, Moneypass, Allpoint
Paperwork related to Licensing, settlement, billing, BIN configuration
BIN management - new program assignment, inactive BIN clean-up, etc.
Facilitating program approvals
Third Party Agent registration
Tracking and Implementation of required mandates or associated waivers
Managing and overseeing Wallet relationships: Google, Samsung, Apple
Managing online access security for network portals – security administration for all employees who have access to portal
Initiating complaints against other member institutions where rules have not been followed for our card acceptance.
Coordinating responses to complaints consumers or other member institutions have made regarding Green Dot.
Reporting as needed
Tracking of KPIs pertaining to Payment Network activity
Troubleshooting any operational issues associated with any of the network relationships
You might be the right match for this role if:
You have Payment Network oversight experience with in-depth knowledge of payment technologies – such as EMV and NFC. You have in-depth knowledge of applicable rules & regulations associated with issuing, acquiring, and payment/debit networks. You are excited about the opportunity to use your strong vendor management skills to evaluate all aspects of the provider’s performance and identify areas for improvement. You have excellent verbal/written communication and negotiating skills, with strong attention to detail.

Required:
Minimum 10 years of financial services industry experience
Minimum 3 years in Payment Network oversight
In-depth knowledge of payment technologies – such as EMV and NFC
In-depth knowledge of applicable rules & regulations associated with issuing, acquiring, and payment/debit networks
Bachelor's degree

PAY RANGE
The targeted base salary for this position is $124,800 to $190,700 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
