Lincare is the nation’s leading provider of clinical respiratory services, oxygen and durable medical equipment. We are currently seeking a Data Entry Clerk.
**This position becomes fully remote after 2 months of in-office training. You MUST be able to commute to the office for training and must live in, or close to Phoenix.**
** Shift is from 9:30 am - 6:00 pm**
**Must have High Speed Internet service**
Job Responsibilities:
- Evaluate all received documents to ensure that appropriate information has been obtained to allow for successful Accounts Receivable
- Review various reports for quality assurance
- Verify patient information
- Record all activity relating to the account in tickler files
- Submit orders and monitor their completion, from initiation to setup, working closely with the clinical and service departments
- Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology with high proficiency of general medical office procedures, including HIPAA regulations (training provided)
Requirements:
- Must pass a background check
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- Must type at least 25-30 words per minute
- Computer skills that include the use of computer programs as well as the use of internet and email
- Must be good at multitasking
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
