Job Title: Remanufacturing Technician
Pay Rate: $22.50
Monday to Friday 1:30pm to 10:00pm
The Remanufacturing Technician will safely perform disassembly, clean, rework and assembly operations on Traction Motor Combo components. Inspect work completed on components.
Responsibilities:
• Adhere to EHS policies and procedures while safely performing work.
• Operate hand tools - hydraulic or pneumatic drills
• Inspect components using fixtures, precision measuring devices, and testing protocols to ensure compliance with internal inspection criteria and engineering requirements.
• Sign-off on the process documentation for each of the work steps performed.
• Process components in accordance with internal processing requirements.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma / GED preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of EHS procedures and policies
• Ability to use manual equipment and hand tools safely
• Working knowledge of inspection measurement equipment
• Understanding of all manufacturing and quality procedures associating assigned product line in a lean manufacturing environment
Training requirements:
• Safely progress though on the job training
• Successful completion of quality audit to internal procedures on assigned product line and/or equipment
• Demonstrate ability to safely complete job tasks utilizing manual or automated equipment as well as use of gages needed for inspection or testing as required
• Demonstrate ability to document and record inspection results per in-house procedures
• Maintain acceptable defect rates
• Where applicable, complete safety and special process training and or certification
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
