Relationship Manager (Flexible Schedule: 20 - 25 hours per week)
ComForCare is looking for an ambitious, outgoing Relationship Manager who wants a career that will grow with them. Were a fast-growing business that needs the right person to help us solidify our relationships in the community and create additional pipelines of referrals that drive new business.
Responsibilities include meeting with the case managers, social workers, physicians, hospital and nursing home discharge planners, generating referrals, and promote the company in the community. Experience in hospice, home health, or health care industry sales and marketing preferred.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Relationship Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with referral sources who will recommend the agency to potential clients. The Relationship Manager will visit and call on these representatives regularly to encourage referrals as well as update them on any clients sent to the agency. The Relationship Manager will understand all programs in place such as Dementia Wise, Matter of Balance, Transitions of Care, etc. and use these to differentiate the agency in the marketplace. In addition, the Relationship Manager may do some direct consumer sales. The ultimate goal for the Relationship Manager is to continuously increase business.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Compliance with ComForCare bonding criteria.
- Eighteen years of age or older, with U.S. citizenship and/or equivalent employment eligibility authorization
- Self-driven and self-disciplined, determined to independently drive results.
- At least three years experience in sales and/or marketing capacities. Marketing experience in a health care setting strongly preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and interact with referral sources, clients, clients families, co-workers and all supervisors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to give presentations to large groups of people as well as one on one.
- Knowledge of social media, SEO, etc. strongly considered.
- High school diploma - Associate or Bachelor degree strongly recommended.
- Experience in event coordination a strong plus
- Visits to potential referral sources on a weekly basis
- Develop, establish, maintain and strengthen relationships with major referral sources, (e.g., Social Workers, Case Managers, Discharge Planners, Hospitals, Assistant Living Facilities, Admission Coordinators, Senior Communities, Rehab Centers, Hospice and other Health care Provider Professionals).
- Provide referral sources with information about ComForCare in a manner that will encourage referrals.
- Conduct research on new and untapped referral sources.
- With agency owner, develop and implement sales strategies that will increase business.
- Work closely with scheduler and recruiter to identify and/or recruit caregivers who are qualified to serve the clients needs based on the referral source type.
- Conduct sofa visits to educate potential clients and families on home care services in a way that will encourage new client to sign on.
- Conduct large group and one-on-one presentations on various topics as necessary. These presentations may be directed to referral sources or direct consumers.
- Promote care enhancement programs such as Dementia Wise and Matter of Balance.
- Order marketing material as necessary with approval from agency owner.
- Weekly meeting with owner to discuss sales progress and upcoming marketing meetings for all referral sources.
- Meet sales goals on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Be available during non-traditional hours as needed to manage and grow the business.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for at least 18 visits to potential referral sources on a weekly basis.
- Conduct at least one in-service each month to a referral source or the public.
- Bring in at least 4 referrals monthly.
- Develop a weekly plan and submit and discuss with owner every Monday morning.
- Track all referrals and follow up as necessary. Discuss weekly with owner.
- Within one day of getting a referral, follow up with referral source on status of client.
- Meet at least two new referral sources weekly.
- Enter notes into database weekly.
