Relationship Manager V - MMB

As a Relationship Manager V (Senior Director) at Capital One, you will explore markets, manage existing loans and deposits, and promote various banking products and services. Additionally, you will oversee staff and/or support and guide less seasoned loan officers. This role primarily involves establishing new client connections for the Regional Commercial Bank.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute an active customer outreach plan within the bank's framework to attract new banking relationships
- Cultivate new client connections, manage, and promote related banking offerings
- Regularly engage with potential clients to secure high-quality new business and exceed production targets
- Create a growth strategy for the portfolio aligned with the departmental budget and overall bank objectives
- Engage with clients through personal visits, branch referrals, and other channels to understand their needs and propose suitable banking solutions
- Collaborate with different divisions and units to handle transactions efficiently and stay updated on market competitors
- Responsible for evaluating, structuring, pricing, and closing loans in the designated area
- Analyze loan requests and financial data to ensure they meet risk standards and policy guidelines
- Assess risk and customer profiles to price loans appropriately for profitability
- Obtain collateral documents for loan security and manage collateral updates in line with policy
- Work closely with borrowers to gather updated financial details regularly
- Present credit proposals to the management and committees, making decisions transparent to customers
- Collaborate with the Loan Analysis team on credit analyses
- Monitor and resolve loan exceptions promptly to maintain operational efficiency
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 10 years in commercial banking
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- Minimum of 10 years in commercial banking and loan origination
