Job Title: Renewable Natural Gas Regulatory and Compliance Manager

Position Overview: As the Renewable Natural Gas Regulatory and Compliance Manager, the applicant’s primary role will be to support the company's revenue sources by managing consistent adherence to regulatory standards. The applicant’s insights and expertise in renewable energy policy and economics will be instrumental in guiding the company's strategic direction. Regular monitoring, updating, and interpretation of political, regulatory, and market dynamics are pivotal to this role.
Core Responsibilities:
· Provide expert knowledge on EPA’s RFS, CARB’s LCFS, and various state programs.
· Oversee the generation and sale of environmental attributes from RNG production.
· Execute comprehensive audits of operational data.
· Relay operational/engineering updates to relevant stakeholders and agencies.
· Ensure strict compliance with RFS and LCFS via coordination of third-party audits.
· Oversee RIN and LCFS forecast and sales and related reporting activities.
· Acquire technical expertise for upcoming facilities and register new pathways with agencies.
· Evaluate potential development opportunities via thorough contract/data review.
· Monitor and report on market trends, especially concerning environmental attribute trading/pricing; identify potential collaboration opportunities
· Stay updated on site operations changes that might influence regulatory prerequisites.
· Continuously assess and report on RNG industry pricing trends.
· Monitor and interpret shifts in environmental and energy policies impacting the RNG and related industries.
· Serve as primary interface with external regulatory/environmental/engineering consultants.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Environmental Engineering, Data Analytics, or related field is mandatory; master’s degree preferred.
· A proactive individual with attention to detail.
· Proven ability to achieve targets and manage multiple priorities under time constraints.
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
· Strong decision-making and problem-solving aptitude.
· Expert in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Work Schedule:
Standard business hours from Monday to Friday. Remote work option available.
