Registered Vascular Technologist Application

We are expanding our team and seeking a dedicated Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) to join us on either a part-time or full-time basis. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional patient care and will demonstrate proficiency in ultrasound technologies, particularly in diagnosing vascular diseases and disorders related to vein health.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately inputing patients personal information and medical history.
• Preparing ultrasound examination areas and ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures.
• Communicating effectively with patients, explaining ultrasound procedures clearly.
• Utilizing non-invasive ultrasound techniques to diagnose vascular conditions, with a focus on vein disorders.
• Adjusting equipment settings to generate high-quality ultrasound images for diagnostic interpretation by physicians.
• Analyzing and comparing current ultrasound results with previous scans to aid in diagnosis.
• Summarizing ultrasound findings promptly and accurately for physician review.
• Safely handling hazardous materials and biological waste according to protocols, including equipment sterilization.
• Maintaining detailed documentation and patient records.
• Staying updated on advancements in vascular technology to ensure best practices.

Requirements:

• Licensed Registered Vascular Technologist RVT
• Proficiency in operating ultrasound equipment and familiarity with related procedures and techniques.
• Experience with electronic medical record software, such as Cliniko and eClinicalWorks.
• Strong ability to summarize findings accurately and maintain meticulous patient records.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and staying informed about advancements in vascular technology.
• Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.

Experience:

• Prior experience as a Vascular Technician preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
