Whether it is in one of the existing locations in Greensboro, a new imaging center in the Triangle or a mobile mammography unit, MP's Client in Greensboro, North Carolina is dedicated to serving their communities with state-of-the-art imaging, compassionate care and exceptional physicians.
For those new to their imaging services, what makes them different is the level of compassionate care they put into helping patients face health concerns with clarity and confidence. Their goal with their expansion is to help more patients understand the state of their health by providing greater access to quality imaging and care.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Facilitate the patient's experience by greeting patients, explaining pre and post procedure instructions, and verifying patient's identity. Utilize AIDET Principles in all patient and provider encounters.
- Perform ultrasound exams using proper protocols and positioning techniques, transporting patients safely, verifying accuracy of orders and documenting patient information.
- Document the patient's exam through data entry, report retrieval, scanning and recording the exam details in the electronic medical record system.
- Conduct environmental and safety procedures including cleaning and sterilizing the exam room and equipment. Evaluate and maintain supply levels and practice safe patient maneuvers.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge and licensure through educational workshops, professional publications, and societies.
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Education: Associate degree or Graduate of Radiology, Imaging or related educational program in Ultrasound Technology or Sonography.
- Licensure/Certification:
- Board Certified in Ultrasound Technology or Sonography, member in good standing.
- ARDMS certification required.
- RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) certification required.
- CPR and/or BLS certification required.
- Experience: 1+ year of recent vascular ultrasound experience required. Experience working with thyroid biopsies is a must!
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Basic computer skills including email and ability to comprehend and utilize Electronic Medical Record System (EMR) and PACS Systems.
- Use of Ultrasound equipment, disinfection unit and general office equipment.
- Consistently demonstrate commitment to safe practices while abiding by all OSHA and HIPPA guidelines.
- Consistently model AIDET principles, service excellence and service recovery.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Location: Varied across our 3 different sites! Burlington, NC, Greensboro, NC, and Summerfield, NC.
- Shift/Schedule: 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) from 8:00am - 5:00pm EST.
- Compensation: $31.90 - $45.30 depending on experience.
