Pay Details: Internal Pay Scale: $31.35 - New Grad, $39.18 - Mid, $47.03 Max. Mid is approximately 15 years of experience, but it's not exact due to market fluctuations and internal equity on the unit. Shift differential. Tuition Reimbursement.
Shift: Night Shift: FT, 36-40hrs/wk, 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
Weekends/Holidays: Sat - Sun; Every other weekend. Holidays in rotation with other staff.
Qualifications:
CRT/RRT or proof of registry eligible status, IL RCP License within 6 months of start date
CPR required, ACLS within 24 months of employment
1 year of experience required
High School Diploma or Equivalent. Must be a graduate from national accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
Responsibilities:
Provides routine and complex respiratory therapy treatment to patients and performs a variety of routine pulmonary function tests according to established procedures in order to provide data used in diagnosis and treatment of respiratory disease/ailments. In doing so, interprets physicians' order, obtains pertinent patient information, arranges and sets up necessary supplies and equipment, and monitors equipment regularly for proper functioning and records data obtained during therapy in patient charts. Assists in monitoring department procedures, recommends enhancements, and assists in developing procedures as requested.
