Job Description
Summary of Position: The Polysomnographic Technologist under the general supervision of the Clinical Director will provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; Completion of a Polysomnographic program; BCLS (current)
Experience: Six (6) months of direct patient care
Skills: Good interpersonal skills; Good communication skills, both written and spoken; Good judgment; Attention to detail and good-record-keeping; ability to follow directions
Requirements: Must maintain current CPR
Physical: Frequently required to stand; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and talk or hear. Occasionally required to walk; sit; stop; kneel; crouch or crawl. Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
