Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry – Remote - UC - OVERNIGHT

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OVERNIGHT M-F 9:30PM - 5AM CST

Position Overview

IND Consulting is searching to add a Data Entry Technician to our growing pharmacy team. In this role, you will be responsible for the entry and processing of medication orders into pharmacy operating systems for our clients. Pharmacy technicians are expected to have a positive attitude, work well with others, possess a strong work ethic, and be dependable. The ideal candidate will always be focused on patient care and meeting company goals.

Responsibilities

· Process medication orders using the pharmacy’s operating system, e-prescribing platform, and document management tools

· Work with handwritten Physicians Orders, electronic prescriptions, and other requests

· Assist in managing workflow of refills, new orders, and admissions to meet volume and time goals each day

· Communicate questions and clarifications to internal and external teams

Qualifications

· Must be a nationally certified Pharmacy Technician through PTCB, NHA, or ExCPT

· Must have a quiet, dedicated workspace and reliable internet

· 1+ year experience as a date entry technician, LTC preferred

· Knowledge of brand / generic medications and common Sig codes

· Possess basic math, typing, and computer skills

· Experience using FrameworkLTC & Docutrack, and or AS400 preferred
