RN Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited RN program
- Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred)
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of New York
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and support a minimum of 80 pounds
- Physical stamina to withstand long hours of standing and walking
- COVID-19 Vaccination**
- Negative TB test results
- Annual physical examination
RN Responsibilities
- Conduct ongoing patient assessments and observations to ensure optimum health levels.
- Administer and record medications per facility policy and procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to improve patient outcomes.
- Deliver care that meets the unique needs of patients, considering their faith and cultural backgrounds.
- Apply problem-solving and critical thinking skills in all patient care situations.
- Accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

**Meridian Nurse adheres to CMS and local Department of Health guidelines regarding COVID-19 vaccinations. All healthcare professionals must be up to date on all recommended COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster doses when required. Non-vaccinated professionals may be subject to weekly testing and mask mandates at client facilities. Vaccinated workers may still undergo regular COVID-19 symptom screenings, including temperature and symptom checks.
Hourly pay rates may vary based on the location of healthcare facilities partnered with Meridian Nurse. All advertised rates reflect the wages currently offered by our partner facilities. Hourly rates may fluctuate depending on the specific shifts you schedule on a weekly basis.
