+ Preferred Bachelor’s in nursing degree and experience in nursing care of children and adolescents in the psychiatric population
+ Associate degree in Nursing
+ Current CT RN License
+ CPR Certified
Description:
+ Will be responsible for providing safety, physical and mental/behavioral health assessments, First aid and medication administration to the youth in the program
+ Embedded in the healthcare teams are lead, triage, and program nurses
+ Nurse will oversee the child’s medical needs throughout their stay while collaborating with outpatient providers to assure holistic care
+ Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to assure continuity, efficient care, and effective discharge planning
+ Will conduct the initial nursing assessment, reconcile any current medication, and provide detailed and accurate documentation, assuring all requirements are met throughout their admission
Hours:
+ 1st shift, 7 a.m–3 p.m.
+ 2nd shift, 3 p.m–11 p.m.
+ Weekend availability is a HUGE plus
+ 40-hour/week commitment!
Pay:
$36.00 - 43.00/hour
