Kaleida Health is hiring for Registered Nurses for a Registered Nurse as a Nurse Manager for the Neuro Med/Tele Unit. Position: Nurse Manager RN - Med/Tele Neurology Unit
Location: 100 High Street, Buffalo, NY 14203
Shift: M-F 8-5, other days (weekends and holidays) as needed.
Pay: Full-time salary position depends on experience between $95,500/year to $149,366/year. Wage will be determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and any applicable collective bargaining agreement

Position Requirements:
- License: NY RN License
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (or in process to soon have ACLS)
- Experience: 4 - 5 years acute RN experience, 1 year leadership and at least 1 year of experience as RN in unit.
- Education: BSN
Position Summary and Responsibilities
This position provides leadership on a 24 hours/7 days per week basis, to the nursing care team in order to provide for the patients needs while under medical care in the facility (as inpatient, resident, day surgery, etc.) as well as to assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate patients' nursing care.
The Nurse Manager is responsible for one or more departments and has responsibility for operations, hiring and terminating staff; disciplining and counseling staff and for approving payroll and time records. The Nurse Manager is also responsible for the quality improvement outcomes and activities of the unit(s) to which they manage.
