Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse Triage to join our team! You will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating assigned patients.
Responsibilities:
- Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients
- Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Maintain accurate patient medical records
- Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Qualifications:
Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields (at least two years)
- Familiarity with medical software and equipment
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- MUST HAVE AN ILLINOIS STATE-ISSUED NURSING LICENSE (Compact Nursing License will be required once Illinois positions have been filled)
- Must provide a resume
Computer Requirements:
- Either MAC or PC with Windows 10 or higher
- Will need two computer monitors
- Will need a Webcam for communication with team members and Quality checks
- Must have Ethernet speeds of at least 150Mb/sec (software is cloud-based and will be accessible via VPN client)
- Workspace must be free of noise and distractions during working hours (i.e., no dogs barking, children/adult voices other than the nurse, etc.)
- Must have full array keyboard with F-buttons and numeric keypad
Wages:
- Salary: $27.00/hour
- Incentives based on call handling and KPI goals
Hours:
- Work hours Monday - Thursday: 4:00 pm to 8:00 am, Friday/Saturday/Sunday: 4:00 pm (Friday) to 8:00 am (Monday)
- Both Full-time and Part-time positions available (Part-time does not qualify for benefits)
