We provide services to a primary substance use disorder population, specializing in treatment for Veterans and active duty members.

The Staff Nurse completes assigned nursing related services for each client. They are responsible for nursing assessments, providing routine nursing care, review of medication logs and assisting in overseeing the medical and psychiatric management of the patient in coordination with the attending physician.

- Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, 3-11:30 pm/ 4 shifts a week.
- Compensation: Starting at $40/hour
- Location: Onsite in Wasilla, AK

- Facilitates medication education
- Incorporates nursing and medical issues into clients treatment plan
- Completes nursing documentation in accordance to facility and State requirements
- Administers medications, as needed
Qualifications:
- Nursing work experience, preferred.
- Work experience in the field of behavioral/mental health, preferred.
- License to practice Nursing in the state of Alaska as a Registered Nurse.
- Nursing degree/diploma from an accredited school of Nursing.
Competencies:
- Knowledge of principles and practices of the discipline.
