- Assists in collection, analysis, evaluation and reporting of quality information using data to drive improvement. This includes facility data related to required measures and occurrence reports
- Serves as an internal consultant by coaching, facilitating, and advising teams in Performance Improvement
- Acts as a resource for partners by identifying, developing and coordinating improvement activities based on data trends.
- Acts as a liaison between the quality department and the medical staff for quality improvement
- Uses existing reports and creates new reports to facilitate data display and improvement activities
- Collaborates with partners and leaders to coordinate best practices
- Supports continued optimization of required measures through analysis of data and involvement in assigned projects.
- Assists with accreditation and survey readiness including rounding, document collection and by serving as the on-site survey representative
- Participates in meeting planning, report preparation, and presentations as necessary.
- Participates on committees as designated.
- Assists in identifying optimization within the EMR and coordinates/performs activities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
BSN or upon hire BSN completion agreement for enrollment in an accredited BSN Completion Program
May require specific years of applicable experience to qualify (per department guidelines). If hired prior to 1-1-14 in Winnebago County and prior to 9-1-14 in Rock, Walworth and McHenry Counties an ADN only is required.
Bachelors Degree (BSN) preferred, Three years of RN experience in a hospital setting preferred Quality/Performance Improvement/data analysis background preferred Experience with Electronic Medical Record preferred
