Position Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a professional medical doctor, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant, and provides a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. The functions of the Registered Nurse are to collect patient health data, analyze the data to determine diagnoses, identify expected outcomes individualized to the patient, develop a plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain the expected outcomes, implement the interventions identified in the plan of care, and evaluate the patient’s progress toward attainment of the outcomes, working collaboratively with the healthcare team. Performs professional nursing work of considerable difficulty including the care of patients as outlined by physicians and the objectives and policies of the organization.
This is a full-time day shift position and does not require weekend or holiday hours. A flexible schedule can also be discussed.
Qualifications
Education (Including Licenses and Certifications): Licensed as Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina. BLS/CPR Certified. ACLS/PALS is required in specialty areas as determined by accrediting bodies.
Experience: Experience working with an EMR system preferred. Two years of clinical/ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
