As a Pre-Op/PACU RN, you'll be responsible for preparing patients for surgery, assisting the anesthesia team during surgery, and providing post-operative care to patients while monitoring their vital signs. You will be an expert in understanding surgical procedures and be able to recognize any post-operative complications and respond accordingly.
The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and hold a valid RN license. We are looking for someone who is highly skilled and has a positive attitude. Someone who is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure our patients feel comfortable and confident in their care while under our supervision. We want someone with exceptional communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work well under pressure and in high-stress environments.
Qualifications:
- A valid RN license with at least two years of experience in the field
- Knowledge of surgical procedures, anesthesia administration, and post-operative care
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, preferred or must obtain within 1
year of hire.
- Ability to work under pressure and in high-stress environments
