The RN Specialty Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, clinical expertise, and functional direction to other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in the specific surgical specialty. This is in addition to the Perioperative nursing functions/and or surgical technology duties.

Job Summary
The RN Specialty Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, clinical expertise, and functional direction to other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes in the specific surgical specialty. This is in addition to the Perioperative nursing functions/and or surgical technology duties.
Education and/or Experience
- Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
- Must fulfill annual continuing education requirements of six contact hours of leadership topics.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years' experience in an OR setting.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure required.
- Membership in AORN is preferred and CNOR certification is preferred within 2 years of hire.

- Monday - Friday
- 80 hours per 2 weeks
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $32.25 - $48.50 per hour
