- 15 beds, 4 alternative care rooms, 6 overflow areas.
- Average 100 pts per day.

- Assessing patient needs and identifying expected nursing outcomes;
- Developing an individualized nursing plan of care;
- Implementing interventions as needed during treatment based on the plan of care;
- Evaluating care and patient response to interventions and expected outcomes;
- Using communication strategies to achieve desirable outcomes;
- Coordinating care with members of the health care team and delegating responsibilities to others as appropriate;
- Demonstrating the ability to advance care by utilizing standards, guidelines, care pathways, and continuous improvement to enhance patient outcomes;
- Promoting a culture of evidence based practice (EBP) by participating in a multitude of available opportunities; and

- Valid RN licensure from MN Board of Nursing
- 1+ years of current ER RN experience
- Will consider 6 months of Acute Care RN experience
- Will consider a new grad with ED experience as a (SNI, capstone, EDT, Paramedic, ect)
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from American Heart Association, by end of orientation
- TNCC certification within 12 months of hire
- PALS/ENPC certifications within 18 months of hire
- Associate degree in Nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
