RN, Interim Assisted Living Director of Nursing

Cassia, a nonprofit, faith-based affiliation between Augustana Care and Elim Care, is hiring a RN, Interim Assisted Living Director of Nursing to join our team. In this role, you will support the transition of Nursing leadership at Assisted Living sites as needed by filling in as the Director of Health Services or other nursing leadership positions. This person will provide clinical expertise and collaborate with the onsite team to help drive the success of theAssisted Living site. Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a variety of settings, including memory care, traditional Assisted Living, and care suites. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has excellent communication and customer service skills.

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position. The majority of our sites are located in Minnesota. However, Candidates must be willing to travel, and there will be overnight stays for out of state locations (North Dakota).

RN, Interim Assisted Living Director of Nursing:

• Fill vacant positions as the Director of Health Services or other Assisted Living nursing positions when needed.
• Identify training needs, plan, and conduct educational opportunities.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships across Cassia.
• Provide calm and reassuring presence at the community.
• Be available for on-call support for licensed and unlicensed staff.

RN, Interim Assisted Living Director of Nursing:

• Must be in good standing with the Minnesota Board of Nursing and have current MN Nursing license (and work towards licensure in all five states).
• BLS CPR training required.
• Experience in Assisted Living required.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Must be flexible to work in memory care, traditional Assisted Living and care suites.
