Job Description for Nurse 3 – Part Time Contractor Sunnyvale (ON SITE)
Required:
A Plus or "Nice to Have":
Description of Nurse Duties:
Hours: Thursday-Friday, 6:00am-3:00pm
- may be asked to cover time off for other nurses
- may be asked to cover time off for other nurses
Required:
- Associates Degree (or higher) in Nursing
- 5+ years experience working as an RN
- Strongly prefer CPR Certified
A Plus or "Nice to Have":
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- 2+ years in occupational health
Description of Nurse Duties:
- Respond to emergencies / administer first aid to employees for job related health issues.
- Deliver OSHA and job/site/contract required surveillance program services**
- Maintain recordkeeping in EMR system(Cority) in compliance with OSHA.
- Dispense OTC Medications.
- Work with industrial toxicology / hygienists to recognize workplace environmental factors
**Surveillance Program Services include hearing conservation, respiratory protection, visual acuity, bloodborne pathogens, biological monitoring, etc.
